The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of large groups of people. Westgate Resorts, Ltd., and its related and affiliated entities (collectively “Westgate”) have put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; an up-to-date list of these measures may be found by visiting www.WestgateCares.com. However, Westgate cannot guarantee that you or your family will not become infected with COVID-19 while travelling to or visiting the property, either of which could increase you and your family’s risk of contracting COVID-19. By making a reservation and travelling to the property, you voluntarily assume the risk that you and your family may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, or death. You further understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the property may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of yourself and others, including, but not limited to, Westgate Team Members and other guests.
By making a reservation hereunder and visiting the property, you voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to your family members or yourself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that you or your family may experience or incur in connection with your visit to the property (“Claims”). As a result, you on behalf of yourself and your family, hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Westgate, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. You understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Westgate, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after your visit to the property. Temperature checks will be conducted upon check-in and posted health questions (e.g. if the guest is experiencing a cough or fever and/or whether they have been recently exposed to someone infected with COVID-19) will be used to screen for those symptoms.
You must be a minimum of 21 years old to check-in. A valid photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport is required at check-in. Your credit card will be pre-authorized for a security deposit for any incidentals (varies per hotel). If you do not have a credit card, some properties will accept a cash deposit. Special room requests based on availability and may be subject to additional fees. Accommodations based on availability and provided by Westgate Resorts and affiliated hotels. Depending on the hotel policy, extra person charges, fees for hotel amenities, and resort fees may apply. Package handling fees will apply. Two (2) night minimum stay required for all Offers. Holiday travel requires a minimum of a three-night stay. No pets allowed.
Resort Tour Policies
Attendance at a 90-minute discovery tour and sales presentation of Westgate Resorts is required. Individuals must be between the ages of 30 and 68 and must present a valid photo ID. If married, cohabitating or engaged, both individuals must be between the ages of 28-68 and must attend the presentation together and present a valid major credit card. No pre-paid cards accepted. Guest must have a valid credit card with an available line of credit to hold resort security deposit and taxes upon check-in. MANDATORY: If married or cohabiting, both parties must provide proof of matching addresses by either a valid photo identification or another form of government-issued identification (Utility bill, Home/Car Insurance or bank statement – Any combination of these 4 items). Must have a verifiable annual household income of $50,000 USD for U.S. Citizens/Residents and $80,000 USD for Canadian and U.K. Citizens/Residents excluding any income derived from unemployment, alimony, child support, disability, bonuses, tips, and/or commissions. (Minimum requirement may be higher and other qualifications may vary, based on destination and season of travel). Upon arrival to the tour individuals must present a valid photo ID and a current major credit card. NOTICE: Failure to qualify and attend the sales presentation, persons who have toured any Westgate Resort location within the last twelve (12) months, have participated in a Westgate discounted promotional Offer requiring a tour more than twice in a lifetime, are traveling as part of a group (three or more couples or singles traveling together on separate packages) or are attending/participating in a sporting event, convention, or family reunion will result in a surcharge of up to $500.00 or the rental rate, whichever is greater, plus the retail rate of any discount attraction tickets that were included in the vacation package. Subject to the qualifications, this offer is available to citizens of the United States and/or in countries where registered. Tour date, time, and/or location may be changed at the Resort’s discretion. Consumption or the influence of alcohol and controlled substances is not permitted during the Preview Tour. You will be refused to tour without a refund and subject to retail rates. Guests may not live within 60 miles of the tour location. All qualified participants traveling to Orlando must speak English, Spanish, or Portuguese fluently and all other locations must speak English fluently.
The credit card used to purchase your ticket order along with a matching Driver’s License will be required to be presented to redeem your ticket voucher. Except for those tickets purchased through and/or as part of Westgate’s Event Series, any and all tickets are non-refundable once a ticket voucher has been issued for the ticket(s) at the Westgate Welcome Center. All additional items purchased are refundable up to 14 days from the purchase date. Ticket prices are subject to change.
Terms and Conditions
One offer per household. Non-transferable. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, and/or certificate. Not available to groups (three or more couples or singles traveling together on separate packages), those attending a convention, sporting event, or family reunions (three or more families traveling together), current Westgate Resorts owners, CFI/Westgate Resorts employees, and their immediate families. Any travel date cancellation and/or reservation changes made within 72 hours of scheduled arrival date are subject to a service fee of $25 plus the first night’s room rate at the standard, non-promotional rate. If staying at Hilton Disney World, all cancellations must be made at least 5 calendar days prior to scheduled arrival date to avoid any penalties. No refunds given for no shows and/or early checkouts.
This Offer is void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
